Dovre Lady
The gorgeous flower motives on the Dovre Bunad derive from a head garment found on Tofte farm on Dovre. The Bunad is either black or blue and has a flower motif on the head garment, the waist piece, vest and bodice.
The silver: The Bunad-silver is oxidized and is rather elegant and thoroughly made. The neck button and brooches often have large pendants executed in fine filigree work. A neck button is worn in the neck lining, and a large brooch lower on the chest is preferable. Mostly, these are heart shaped. In the sleeves, cufflinks are used, and on the black shoes a couple of buckles. The purse clasp is rather robust and may be produced both in silver and plated.
