Landingsdrakta
The Landingsdrakt is made after the example of the Hulda Garborg Bunad and has got a simple shape. The work started in 1927 and ended in 1980. The embroidery on this Bunad is inspired by a embroidery from Hadeland. The pattern repeats itself on the head garment and apron, but not on the bodice itself. A cape goes with this Bunad.
The Silver: There was no original silver for this costume in the beginning, but later on, it has become common to wear a star brooch in the neck, a rose brooch with hoops on the chest and a square buckle at the waistline. All the silver is oxidized. The earrings and the ring may have the same hoops as the brooches, but one may also use filigree patterns. Cufflinks, shoe buckles, timepiece, knife and an umbrella are other accessories for this Bunad.
