Voss gentleman

This gentleman's Bunad from Voss has a black coat and long pants or breeches. The vest is red with a green front. This gives the illusion of two vests. The vest is closed with two rows of buttons in the green area. In addition there are two rows of buttons on the red area. The shirt is white and has embroideries in the collar and cuffs. White stockings and colored ribbons belong with this Bunad too. The headdress for gentlemen is a black felt hat while the boys use a red knitted cap. The boys use a simple red vest.

The silver: The shirt is held together by a double neck button and cufflinks. The knee lining is decorated with three buttons and a buckle for fastening beneath the knee. The west has a total of four button rows. Seven button pairs on the red part and six button pairs on the green part. The coat has one row with seven or eight bigger buttons on each side. In addition you can have a knife, shoe buckles and a timepiece with its chain.
