Samnanger gentleman

The gentleman's Bunad from Samnanger is made in black wadmal or fabric. The coat and vest has a high collar and is edged with ribbons. The vest exists in both red and black, edged with ribbons and embroidered pockets. The breeches have a normal zipper and waist lining. A white shirt, shoes, stockings with ribbons also belongs with this Bunad.

The silver: It is common to use oxidized silver for this Bunad. The shirt has a neck button and cufflinks. The knee-split in the breeches are held together by four buttons. The red vest has sixteen silver buttons in two rows, while the black edition has two extra buttons on the lapels. The coat is decorated with a silver button on each lapel and seven buttons on each side. In addition a guy should have a knife, shoe buckles in silver and a timepiece with its chain.
