Bunad silver Sigdal and Eggedal lady

Sigdal and Eggedal lady

This Bunad appeared in the mid 1950s. The skirt has embroideries around the edge. The apron has flowers scattered around it. The waist piece is edged with metal lace and is made in red woolen cloth. The chest cloth is covered in pearls in a nice pattern. You can also get a purse and hat for this Bunad in a matching pattern together with a cape, a coat, a neck cloth and shoes.

The silver: You use oxidized silver for this Bunad. The shirt is held together with a small brooch or neck pin at the neck, together with one or two bigger brooches that is attached to the waist piece. If you use a chest cloth, this should not be covered by any brooches. There is cufflinks for the cuffs and shoe buckles for the shoes. A clasp is used for the coat and the waist piece. A bag lock, ladies knife and a time piece completes this Bunad.
